Mango Lassi



Took Little Hippie and Baby Hippie to their first Indian restaurant. Some of their favorites were surprising, but I knew that LH would love the mango lassi. The restaurant’s version seemed to have a lot less yogurt and a lot more sugar than mine, but she drank this one anyway. I thought it was good with one less teaspoon of sugar and one less tablespoon of honey, so you may want to experiment with the sweetness levels.

Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup mango chunks (I used slightly thawed frozen mango chunks)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • 2 T. honey
  • Dash of cardamom
Method:
  1. Combine all ingredients in the blender. Process until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses. Garnish with a mango chunk and/or a shake of cardamom.
