Clothespin Magnets: Nifty Gifties!

  • Mod Podge.
  • Little magnets.
  • Clothespins.
  • Paper.

That’s it. These took less than an hour, and most of that time was just waiting for adhesives to dry. This gift was *beyond* easy, and it’s such a cute way to display Christmas cards, school papers, calendars, and reminders.

Directions:

  1. Cut strips of paper to fit over one side of the clothespin.
  2. Hot glue a magnet to the lower part (below the spring – away from where you pinch IMG_1075_v1it) of the clothespin. Wait until glue is completely set so that the magnet is firmly fixed.
  3. Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge on the other side of the clothespin. Apply the paper strip. Brush another layer of Mod Podge over the strip of paper.
  4. Allow to dry completely before using or packaging for gift-giving.
