Thanksgiving Dishes

Cranberry Chutney {The Reluctant Hippie}As we fly through the month of November, I wanted to put together a list of recipes that might be useful to you as you plan your Thanksgiving gatherings. Some of these are blasts from the past, so the photo quality is not very high. I promise that they taste better than they look.

Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving-appropriate dishes. Enjoy!

Cranberry Chutney {The Reluctant Hippie}

Cranberry Chutney:

Hands-down, this is my favorite thing to bring for a Thanksgiving celebration. Delicious and sophisticated.

Butternut Squash Bruschetta:

This appetizer is always a hit!

Cranberry Maple Butter {The Reluctant Hippie}Cranberry Maple butter:

Only for Thanksgiving. It’s so dangerously good that if you were to have it available all the time, it would put you in an early grave.

Baked Apples and Butternut {The Reluctant Hippie}Baked Apples and Butternut Squash:

Simple, healthy, delicious. It’s especially good if your family does a sausage-based dressing with your turkey.

Warm Fruit Compote {The Reluctant Hippie}Fruit Compote:

You’re going to want to make a giant batch of this so that you have leftovers for breakfast on Friday. Trust me.

Teton Tea (The Reluctant Hippie}Teton Tea:

This warm drink should be on all of your party menus between now and February.

Idiot-Proof Carrot Cake {The Reluctant Hippie}Idiot-Proof Carrot Cake:

A dessert for those of us who don’t particularly enjoy pumpkin pie.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, my dear reader(s). I hope that this holiday season finds you healthy and content. I count you among my many blessings.
