Embroidered Napkin Rings

Embroidered Napkin Rings {The Reluctant Hippie}

These are so easy! After seeing the prototypes, my kids can’t wait to get to work on the rest of the napkin rings for our Thanksgiving celebration.

Just cut the shapes out of felt (I used this template, printed at 50% size), embroider the veins in a contrasting color, and attach them to ribbon or twine.

I tried a couple of color variations for the embroidery floss. My favorite was the blue/green/yellow thread (DMC #4050) because it popped so nicely. However, if you are looking for something more subtle, the orange/red thread (DMC #4130) looked nice, too.

Pair these napkin rings with a Thankful Garland to create a beautiful handmade tablescape this Thanksgiving.
