The first flower takes a few minutes. The rest come together in a flash. I used floral wire because I had some, but any kind of twistable wire or even a pipe cleaner would work just fine. The floral tape to wrap the wire was kind of great – it made the wires look a lot like real flower stems. I wrapped all three stems together towards the bottoms so that the arrangement stayed put. You can absolutely do this without floral tape, but it really makes the finished product look terrific. Any craft store will have it. I got mine at Dollar Tree a few years ago.
This project came together very simply and relatively quickly. It’s a nice way to give cash without just shoving it into a card. It’s also a nice alternative for sending flowers to someone who could find a better use for your $50 than an FTD arrangement. Hope your gift recipient enjoys the beautiful fruits of your labor!
